Tuesday came and went, however I am pleased to say that I met most of my deadlines and managed to get extensions from an unsympathetic student advisor for the others; Mum summed up my attitude to work to some of her friends the other day, "Ben likes to use every throw of the dice with his Uni work", hmmm this must run through the family somewhere, so there is my excuse...

Since my last entry I have also celebrated my 20teenth birthday. The photos I have posted are the only ones where I do look half decent, however I think I look bad in all of these and this is the start of the night (9pm), so you can imagin what state I was in by the end (3am)- I can not remember. As with my uni work, I do have someone else to blame - my friends some of whom feature in the photos.
With one week to go and all of my travel documents turning up, I am getting quite excited, but also slightly nervous. A had a look at a map of Canada that James and Diana had bought me for my birthday, and realised that my drive across Canada is a lot further than I had originally thought; what am I letting myself in for? I will soon find out...
